Nicaragua is going through difficult times. Tourism is down and Casa Xalteva is struggling to keep the doors open and to continue providing much needed assistance to local youth.

Casa Xalteva is currently providing support to 19 youths – 10 girls and 9 boys. 
We provide a daily breakfast, a safe and happy environment, scholarships, English classes, homework support, all learning materials (pens, books, uniforms, shoes, backpacks, etc.), vocational training skills, field trips and other special activities, and a place to be loved, respected and heard.

Sponsor a Nicaraguan boy

Jorlan comes from a poor family living in a dangerous neighborhood. We provide him with a safe home in a supportive environment. 

$80 for one month or $960 for one year.

High School scholarship

Tuition, school uniform, shoes, school supplies and fees for one student. There are currently 7 High School students in the program.

$26 for one month or $312 for one year.

University scholarship

Tuition and transportation five days a week to the University in Managua for one student. There are currently 3 young women in the University program.$70 for one month or $840 for one year.

Breakfast

A nutritious breakfast each school day for the local youth in the program. There are currently 7 children coming for breakfast.$50 for one month or $600 for one year.

Rent for Casa Xalteva

Our new home is located 1/2 block east of Xalteva Church. The red house in Xalteva Park. Granada, Nicaragua.

$150 for one month or $1800 for one year.Casa Xalteva is a local Spanish school and a non-profit organization in Granada, Nicaragua in operation for over 25 years.We offer face-to-face and online Spanish classes with local teachers to students from all over the world.
