This Nicaragua Community website is for those expats living in Nicaragua or wanting to move to Nicaragua or people just envious of those having the gumption to do so.

NicaNuggets was started by Amy and Darrell Bushnell who moved to Nicaragua in 2006.  One of the hardest things to find in Nicaragua was reliable information which resulted in our distributing an email newsletter to many of the expats living in the area. Then tourists and people considering Nicaragua began requesting it. Everyone wanted it to just be a simple sharing of community information.

NicaNuggets was handed over by Bushnell in December 2020 by Paul Daemen and Ghislaine Sieveking who are active in promoting Investing in Nicaragua via their youtube channel. They post on a daily basis on expat life, local info, activities, restaurants, and yes, real estate. Here is the link to their YouTube channel Paul Daemen YouTube channel  They also are Realtors that have been in business since 2002, and moved in 2015 to Nicaragua. They are known as the Nicaragua Real Estate Team which is affiliated with KW Nicaragua, with six offices in Nicaragua from San Juan Del Sur to Granada, Managua and Leon.
