Julio Lacayo and his business partner Zachary Lunin announce that Onno Bierman has decided to work on other business endeavors, we all wish him well. We are pleased to announce that we found a perfect replacement with two seasoned real estate people,  Paul Daemen and Ghislaine Sieveking both Realtors® and members of the CANIBIR (Nicaraguan Real Estate Board) have joined the Aurora Colonial Realty Granada organization. They are the only 2 Realtors® living and working in the Granada market.

Paul has over 35 years international business experience in over 54 countries and 15 years in real estate. He is one of two Realtors® in Nicaragua that have attained the CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) designation, and is the only Realtor® in Nicaragua that has obtained the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Manager) designation. He has done real estate transactions in Mexico, Poland, China, The Netherlands, Spain, USA, and Nicaragua. He also has several other designations and a Master degree from Iowa State University and is a certified Agribusiness Consultant.

Paul is a Dutch citizen who has lived in Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, Poland, Egypt, Jamaica, The Netherlands and USA. Prior to moving to Nicaragua, Paul had an active consultancy business helping companies in international trade from marketing to joint ventures. Paul also was an Adjunct Professor teaching international business courses (started in 2012) at the MBA level at Newman University, Friends University, Baker University, and MidAmerica Nazarene University.

Paul speaks fluent Dutch, Spanish and English, and has some command of German.

Ghislaine Sieveking has been active in real estate for the past 14 years with a specialty of new home construction/development and resale. Ghislaine is the only Realtor® in Nicaragua that has attained the CRS (Council Residential Specialist), and CSP (Certified New Homes Specialist) designations. She has real estate experience in USA and Nicaragua.

Ghislaine is Chilean born with a Canadian Citizenship. She has lived in Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and Canada.

Ghislaine is fluent in Spanish and English.

Paul will act as the Managing Broker of the Granada office. An office will be opened later this year after a suitable location is found to assist walk in traffic. We will be expanding this office with a property management team and tour operations to further assist clients and tourists visiting Granada.

Paul and Ghislaine live outside Granada, in a small town called Diria. Where they have a small acreage with over 85 fruit trees and 5 pelibuey sheep, and two large dogs, they named their home “Ranch Cactus” since the property line has 1000 cactus plants.
